Ana by Thiago

One of the first words that come to my mind when I think of Ana is “passionate”. About the arts, her own art, entertainment and everything revolving her universe. Also “obstinate”, and with it, an undeniable gumption and resolve to back it all up. I have never seen Ana give up on anything before, and I gladly think I never will. Not unlike me at all, I would venture say. We always like to playfully talk about how we are very unlikely friends. While that is actually not exactly wrong, mainly because we enjoy very different things, we have a lot of defining traits that connect us in an unbreakable bound. There is also a very strong sense of sensibility and happiness about her, even in her darkest days. I guess that, at the end of the day, Ana is an extremely optimistic person. Maybe because she believes the best is always yet to come and that better days are always ahead of us. It is a most helpful trait for any struggling artist, in fact. A true breath of life.

Thiago is promising young man endowed with talent for acting and brilliant writing skills. I first met him when I joined the drama group which he would come to direct a few years later. Although we led different lifestyles and had some very distinctive tastes, we connected through our passion for arts and soon became very good friends. While some may see him as a private person I see a focused man pursuing his dream and perfecting his techniques day after day. Thiago is the kind of person who won't give up easily, he seems to see obstacles as challenges that once completed will prove he's on the right path. He's also the one to ask for an honest opinion for he will never say something for the sake of pleasing. Annoyingly enough he's also always right (and he knows it).
